Ministering to the Elderly
Approximately 85% of the men and women who reside in care centers rarely have a one-on-one visitor and 50% having no living relatives. The mission of Crossroads Ministries is to improve the spiritual and emotional care of the elderly living in skilled and assisted care centers through one-on-one visits, on-going Bible study and friendship, thereby improving their overall quality of life.
How We Minister
We achieve our mission by training individuals, families, churches and groups to befriend this forgotten generation; providing hope and opening doors for further spiritual guidance by our trained and certified chaplains.
Our services include:
- Training individuals, families, teens and groups for care center visitation
- Providing Bible studies, praise and worship through music and Sunday services in the care centers
- Training chaplains for ongoing ministry and spiritual guidance, Celebration of Life services and end-of-life preparation
- Ministering to not only the residents, but to their family and the care center staff
